Between the 8th and 9th of November, the department of music of Kabul University's Faculty of Fine Arts, together with the department of Transcultural Music Studies at the FRANZ LISZT University Weimar, presented an international symposium. Under the title 'Bridging the Gap', participants discussed the potential of mobile information and communication technology in the context of joint musicological research, the development of curricula, learning materials and international networking of research-related archival data.
