Bilingual module

In 2013, the AMRC developed a bilingual module incorporating the traditional music of Afghanistan within the teaching of foreign languages and other subjects in the school curriculum. The module is available in English and German and includes detailed lesson plans, background information, teaching materials and suggestions for planning and realisation. This module is complemented by a bilingual e-book on the traditional musical culture of Afghanistan. AMRC will adapt this bilingual module for musical education in Afghanistan.

The content, methodological considerations, structures and linguistic forms of the module are currently being adapted in order to enhance musical education in Afghanistan.
